Christianity as a religion has many challenges and much work to be done, we are asked as Christians to help. Giving help is as per a person's will, similar to tithes giving where one isn't forced to give what he or she has. Folks still debate how much they should give while the Bible is very much clear about this. If you search Christian forums you will find members posing questions about giving tithes to God, and the importance of giving sincerely.

Tithe given to God with a willing and open heart receives blessings. Christians shouldn't be forced by others to give tithes, they should give it willingly. Christians should give 10 % of their earnings. They should give 10 % irrespective of different ratios and amounts of agricultural produce and income they receive. It should not be money alone to tithe, but also farm produce.

During the past, christians who lived those times could take what they hard harvested, their first produce had to be given to God. They had to thank God for giving them good yields, do you do the same as a modern Christian?

During Jesus' time, Jesus rebuked the giving of the Pharisees and the scribes. This is because their giving was not honest. They gave what they had stolen from the poor. Also they wanted those folks to recognize their giving and could boast of how much they gave. Christians are prohibited from dedicating such tithes which are gotten in a cruel way; they will not be recognised by God. There will be no blessing to individuals who offer such tithes and such people may end up being cursed by God.

Give ten percent to God of your earnings which you receive monthly or every day. The farm produce you have harvested carry 10 percent and present it to God. If you do this God's blessings will be poured to you. Paul taught and stressed on the collections so much to the people of the Corinth church, he told them their collections were based primarily on willingness to give.

But do Christians do this? Do they give 10 percent? Actually I haven't got a reply to these questions but it is only God who knows. However, what I know is that people have turned to be self-concerned; they want to have more while forgetting that all what they have belongs to God. It is God who provides everything and without Him we are powerless creatures if not hapless!
