The other day my husband said to me, “I know this sounds crazy, but I just *know* that we are going to win the lottery.” The funny thing is that not only did I not think he was crazy but he is one of literally hundreds of others who are tapped in on some level who are feeling the same thing. I’ve talked to many people all around the world, none of whom know each other, who are saying the same thing. Myself included.

Realistically, I don’t believe that every single one of us are going to win the actually lottery although it could happen considering the way of the New Earth. But I checked in with my guides on why we are all feeling this assuming the above won’t happen.

They tell me that we are picking up on an energy signature that resembles the gaining of sudden and significant abundance and prosperity. It is the joy and freedom many of us are told about but are still in the dark about. It is the full emergence into the energy of the New Earth. We feel it just like we are feeling our purposes coming just beyond the darkness of ambiguity.

Why it is feeling like the lottery is because our human brain that so compulsively loves to organize and classify data matches the energy to the only file that it most closely matches – winning the lottery. In actuality, since we’ve never lived this energy before, there is no file that exists in our minds. It has never happened in the history of mankind.

So feel the energy in your heart and be grateful for it. It means you are tapped into the good things that are coming. When? I wish I knew. But the guides continuously say, “Hold on, just hold on a little bit longer.” When you are feeling discouraged, try to find that feeling again and keep focused on it. It is the light at the end of the tunnel.

This topic came up for me when, one day, a mainstream friend of mine called me a hippy in response to a Facebook post of mine. Feeling like I walk the line between metaphysician and mainstreamer pretty well I thought to myself, “I am not a hippy!” Long story short I’ve since embraced my hippy-dom but it brought up an interesting conversation with my guides.

Those who know me well know that I come from a skeptical background fraught with insecurities and trust issues with the Universe. I blame some gnarly past lives, but I digress. So my secret skeptic began a quest with my guides about the whole point of the 60’s hippy movement and it’s seeming momentuum interrupted towards ascension.

The decade of Aquarius had all the makings of a great global Awakening. Talks about magical energies, blossoming spirituality, breaking the stiff molds of convention. Then it all fizzled. The hippies went corporate, got real jobs, had kids, and traded the polyester overalls for suits and briefcases. Sell-outs I believe they were called.

This scared me. What if all of this hard work so many of us were doing was all for nothing? What if it would all just fizzle out again and we would give up our high aspirations to become a cog in the corporate machine?

My guides bailed me out of this doomed scenario. They told me that there was a purpose to the sell out, to the movement as well as it’s seeming collapse. First, all evolutions begin with a little burst cropping up somewhere but not really catching on enough to survive. Like a flower in the primordial ooze from where we came. Of course fields of wildflowers did not pop up one day. One grew, then died. Then a few grew, then died. Soon the genetics worked themselves out enough to make it work.

The 60’s were a little burst of Awakening energy. Not quite enough to catch on. The times were much different and an having an open mind was viewed as badly as catching a fatal disease. Drugs artificially creating feelings and speeding people towards what seemed like ascension was also in the recipe for disaster. It doesn’t work when your mind is in new energy but your body is vibrating much lower due to the drugs.

But still, there was a point to the 60’s. Those sell-outs weren’t such a waste after all. They ended up in some pretty influential places later on. Heads of companies, figures in the media, researchers, thinkers, innovators. They are the forefathers opening the doors to thought, technology, and literature that would help us, the true ascenders, on our path. They are also parents who taught their children to have an open mind, to allow for all truths, and to question authority. They were the superheroes of the movement who had to live as their alter egos that blended into the canvas of the time.

Now, for this movement? My guides assure me it is real. We are working authentically and very diligently toward this goal. The vibration of the Earth scientifically reflects the changes. Ascending is hard work and so many of us are putting in the hours to make it happen. We will not fizzle.

Last night I finished reading the last Harry Potter book. I know, I know. But I was thinking about the theme in the book where the other magical creatures resented wizards for looking down on them and treating them as much lower beings. House elves were slaves and often abused as were the goblins, etc. Wizards viewed themselves as far superior even though all of the various creatures could perform magic and often uniquely so.

As I was thinking this my guides began to tell me how we do this as well. Not only seeing humans as being superior to other living beings such as mice, insects, etc but we also view higher energies as being far more superior. They said that this is not true. There is no hierarchy at all. Even among other humans. No human is more superior than any other. No celebrity or enlightened guru. Garbage collectors and criminals rank alongside our guides and even Ascended Masters. I may get flamed for this (when really it is my guides ) but every life exists for a purpose that serves the whole. The only reason, we as humans see ourselves as powerful within a concrete world but powerless in the energetic one is because of the limits of our own mind and beliefs.

We have been programmed for centuries to believe in and rely on heirarchies to feel safe and know order in sometime a chaotic world. But the guides say this is all an illusion. All human beings, even the darkest souls, have the ability to guide and influence each other just as they do. In fact, we all do anyway. They say that humans have an even greater power because, in the process of ascending, we are being asked to guide-like and God-like with incredible limits in mental and physical realms. It is like Houdini trying to break free of chains. They also add to not put so much pressure on ourselves for feeling negative, being angry or spiteful, or any other dark mental game. They acknowledge how difficult of a task we are being asked to do and especially how difficult it is to feel and be magical in such a dense body and world.

The guides ask that we begin to see not only ourselves as magical creatures capable of so much but also all the other forms of life around you. I know firsthand that even insects have a much more powerful role here on this Earth than we realize. Suspend judgment and see the magic though it has to come from within first.

When I was around 11 or so I was a pretty firm atheist despite attending Catholic school in grades 1-5.  One day my mom, does not typically engage in philosophical discussions, asked me very plainly, “Do you believe in reincarnation?” I said, “Of course.” Considering I’ve had a very vivid past life memory of my death since before I could remember anything. Then my mom said even more plainly, “Then you can’t be an atheist.” “Why not?” I asked. She said that a higher power must govern the process of reincarnation. That that process could simply the the natural order of things. But no matter, it was a higher power. That may have been the only philosophical discussion we’d ever had but it was profound and seemingly Divinely guided.

Since that time I’ve obviously expanded my spiritual view. Just for purposes of disclosure, I hold my own spiritual believes separate from most religious doctrine but find validity in points made by various religions. But the central core of my beliefs rests in a view of spirituality that incorporates and explains the various beliefs of all the religions.

An image was once given to me of a huge stadium that was locked and physically inaccessible to everyone. In the center of this stadium was God. Although the stadium in inaccessible there is an unlimited number of keyholes completely surrounding the exterior walls of the stadium. Through these keyholes anyone can view a portion of God; however, depending on where you are outside the stadium that view is unique only to you or your section of the stadium. Therefore, all people of all religions are viewing God but a different aspect of Him. The greatest “key” in accessing the whole of God is learning the humility it takes to understand that your vantage point is limited and the acceptance of the “correctness” of another’s perception of God. The difficult with this is when we feel that our view and opinion of God is the only view and the most correct view.

Tomorrow is September 9, 2009. Not only is that just a catchy date but also a magnet for all types of interesting events ranging from a call to ban all photos of cats on the internet to the largest Twitter Tea Party protest. But in the metaphysical world tomorrow will be a very big day not only for us but for the Earth as well. Below is a summary of the events of tomorrow:

According to various sources a portal or gateway will be opening up tomorrow sending a great deal of energy flooding to us and the Earth. This is reported to be one of the highest energy peaks to open to us (so be prepared for those who are sensitive) activating DNA and creating mass awakening (Source). It is also a time where illusions begin to dissipate and truths are revealed (Source). Scandals uncovered and acts of low integrity come to light. According to Karen Bishop of Emerging Earth Angels we are finally going to be connected and realizing our places in the New Earth.

This is the time for you, the reader, to really begin getting honest with yourself as well with other people. This can really manifest as the true intentions of relationships suddenly becoming clear and altering the nature of the connection. Whenever illusions fade away you become disillusioned. This is rarely pleasant although the ultimate means is for the greatest good. Would you really like to remain living your life on a foundation of lies? This is a time of falling under the rubble of falsehoods but to be given the great opportunity to rebuild your life with a more solid base. So it seems chaotic and that your personal world is ending but it is really a gift for you to really start doing it the right way…your way.

Another manifestation of this energy will be that, for those who have been clearing out, your visions and manifestations will begin to take shape. But part of this is that you get a nice big shove off a cliff so to speak. Many of our visions have been pretty big. Well pretty big changes also involve fear and anxiety. Can we make it? Wait! What do I do? Will this work? This is all normal and part of the process. Even though we are ready for the old world to die away we still have never actualized what this new world is or how we will make it. It is like putting a child in a car and just telling them to drive and they will figure it all out. And we will. When you feel afraid, confused, or anxious, walk into the energy instead with love and trust. Welcome the change and the upheaval with open arms because this is what you have been asking for. It would not be given to you if you could not handle it.

Also know that this change and upheaval happening is for your greatest good. We live too often in our comfort zones. Not willing to make changes until things get too tense, too difficult, or unbearable. For some our fear has kept us too long in our comfort zones and the energies that are coming in now, tomorrow, and in the future are really bumping us out of our chairs and asking us to get moving. They are giving us reasons to get off our butts. You know how you felt antsy and wanting to take action for so long? Well now it is time to do it but fear keeps us from actually doing it.

Overall, depending on your stage of development, you are being asked to really clean up your act. Honor the emotions you’ve been feeling for so long, get honest with yourself and other people, and clear out your emotional closet. You know all those dark and seedy thoughts you think are private? They are not so private anymore. Live your life as though all humans can hear and see those thoughts. That is what I mean by clean up your act. You ooze those thoughts and feelings out of every pore and it keeps you locked in a miserable state.

For those who have taken care of the dirty work already it is time to really begin to take action. Acknowledge your fear, worries, and anxiety about how you are going to make it, what you are going to do, and what it will really look like. People will begin coming into your life to help you make it happen. And until that starts really happening for you start being that person who helps make things happen for other people. The world is round, remember? You can also work on your lower chakras and begin opening to receive.

Recently, I’ve gotten a lot of interest and questions from those recently discovering that they too are Indigo Adults. Last year I wrote more in depth about what and who an Indigo Child/Adult is and the articles can be found here and here. Many of these questions are incredibly common and don’t seem to be addressed in other places. So I thought I would devote this blog post to answering those questions.

Q: I seem to have many of the qualities of an Indigo, now what? What do I do with it?

Indigo’s are simply people who were born at a higher vibration than the generation before. So we feel, very starkly, the contrast from the previous generation to this one. Many of us are angels, guides, fairies, Masters, etc born into a human body. Because of this and the resulting amnesia from incarnating we have a lot of issues being on Earth and then not knowing why we feel so powerful when everyone around us treats us otherwise. So what you do with your amazing energy is up to you. The overall purpose is to help those who are not like us. Many Indigo’s have a propensity to separate and isolate “us” from “them” but this is the opposite of what the higher energies want us to do. Unfortunately, not many sources outside of yourself can tell you exactly what you are supposed to be doing. In the process of discovering your purpose you discover your “soul self” or who your higher energy is (guide, angel, etc). So this is a bit of a lonely journey of the soul. Some people can tell you that you are supposed to be a healer or that you are an Earth Angel but not much beyond that. That is because the guides want us to discover this for ourselves. In doing this we then can help others in the process of discovering themselves. Plus, as Indigo’s we don’t like people telling us what to do…so you wouldn’t really listen if someone did give you the answer anyway.

Q: I want to learn more but can’t seem to find any more information. Why not?

There is not a lot of information out there beyond the characteristics. That is because the path of the Indigo is unique even though we exhibit similar characteristics. It would be like saying all people of Italian descent have one purpose. Being Indigo is more of a culture than anything else. We come from other galaxies or dimensions so we all struggle through the human and Earthly experience in a similar way. We are all immigrants but now that we are here our paths are as unique as the bodies we were given. There really is no road map once we get to this planet. The guides ask us to find our intuition and develop a relationship with them individually rather than depending on others for information. Since each connection and purpose is unique following another’s word or theory will lead us astray. The answers will be given to you directly from the guides. Strengthen your relationship with them and you will be on your way.

Q: I feel this urge this power or this need to do something but I don’t know what.

This is incredibly common in Indigo’s and is probably one of the most defining characteristics in my opinion. Since we are from such higher energies and we were incarnated for a very specific purpose then we have an incredibly amount of power and drive stored up inside of us. Added on top of that a feeling of limitation by our bodies and minds since we are not used to dealing with these normally. But there is a time and process when this is expressed and opened within us. For some our purposes are not now, soon, but not now. The feeling inside can be painful and frustrating. Some things that help are creative pursuits such as art, music, even raising children. This is because our job here is to create a new world which is the highest form of creation. Being creative in more “mundane” ways can help tremendously. Another thing that is really important is to make peace with being here. That means get involved with life instead of waiting for that purpose to arrive. Make friends, have fun, and drop your anchor. You have to be committed to being here to start your purpose.

Q: What can I do with the label “Indigo”?

Nothing really. Indigo helps people identify and validate their feelings and experiences. It helps Indigo’s feel like less than a freak and then you can go out and meet others just like you. It also helps to know that there is a reason you are here and a purpose to be fulfilled. Once that happens the “job” of knowing you are an Indigo is done. Drop the label and then move onto discovering who you really are on a soul level, connect to your guides and begin discovering, then living your purpose. But sticking to the label and culture of Indigo can really limit your power. It can also begin the process of separating yourself from others who are seeming non-Indigo’s which runs counter to your purpose being here. So it really is important to just move on knowing that you are special and there is a reason you struggle so much just being in your own skin.

In The Amazing Power of Deliberate Intent by Esther and Jerry Hicks, Abraham communicated a nifty and quick way to help someone tune up their vibration when feeling out of sorts on a specific issue such as finances, physical appearance, confidence, etc. It is called the Focus Wheel. I thought is was so great that I thought I would share it with you.

What is a Focus Wheel

It is a technique to help shift your vibration from being stagnant or spiraling downwards to one that is in more alignment with what you want. It helps you “feel” what you are wanting and knocks your vibration up a level close to where you want it to be so you can feel better and less anxious. “Want it, and vibrate it, and it is.” ~ Abraham

When to use the Focus Wheel

• To “feel” a belief you do not currently feel (I feel fat rather than feeling fit)
• To line up a conflicting belief (I trust I will be provided for meanwhile I’m afraid I can’t pay the bills next month)
• You know you are attracting unwanted things with how you currently feel but you just can’t get over these feelings
• An event happens that knocks you off your good vibration

How to use the Focus Wheel

• Download a free Focus Wheel Template here or here
• Think about what it is you *don’t* want any more. What you want to change.
• Now think of it’s opposite or what you *do* want. (so “I have infinite financial resources” if you are feeling broke) Write that in the very center of the wheel.
• Now look at it like a clock. At the 1:00 position and moving clockwise write statements that match the goal you wrote in the center.

Tips

• The statements you write around your wheel must make you feel better and improve towards a positive feeling rather than a negative
• When you finish your wheel add a little circle and write the word “purify”. This is where creation happens and this will help you purify your thoughts on the matter.
• Use general statements rather than specific ones. It is easier to get into vibrational alignment that way.
• The statements along the outside of the wheel are supposed to be ones you already believe and are in alignment with.
• Use colors and pictures…have fun with it!

A major practice in Usui Reiki is letting go of expectations of the outcome of the session. In other words, not to be concerned if the person felt anything, is free from pain, or if the ailment was released. This practice is highly valuable in all areas of one’s life.

For example, on days like today, my son really struggles to fall asleep for his nap. I catch myself ruminating in thoughts like, “please god fall asleep” or my favorite desperate attempt at LOA “in 15 minutes he will be asleep”. But we all do this for lots of things. In fact, Law of Attraction is based in having a vision of the future. But notice that I said it is based in having a “vision” and not an expectation.

This is how people get tripped up. They create a vision of their future: A big house, fulfilling job, consumable romantic relationship, etc. Then they *expect* it. This is great in one sense because it helps you feel it, own it, and get in line with deserving it. But how it hinders your progress is that it adds in that aspect of control. The universe does not respond to being micromanaged by us. It is like an infant demanding something from the President of the United States.

When we try to control things by expecting the things we envision for ourselves we miss out on so much else. Imagine being lost at sea with a telescope and only looking through that telescope in one direction. Land is just to the side but you would never see it. What we want right at this moment and what we deserve and are in line for are sometimes different. Just being human our visions are limited and small. Our guides and angels have a much better view of our lives and purpose.

So what can you do? Live in the moment and create this moment, right now, to be joyful and purposeful. Trust that the things you deserve and want are just on the horizon. Feel the safety in knowing that. Make choices based on what brings you joy. The things you want will bring you joy right? Then follow the breadcrumbs to that ultimate goal. Stand out in the sun and feel the breeze, listen to the birds, watch your favorite movie. Doing all of these things, even when they don’t seem very connected, will lead you to ultimate and cumulative joy.

I was in the shower the other day when my guides came in to tell me about abundance. They explained not only why we deserve it but also why they love giving to us.

Overall, the guides see us as children. Not in a disrespectful way but more in a hierarchical way. They laugh and shake their heads when we curse at them and life and when we want to do things our way without listening to them. They support us when we fall and are always there to listen and give us advice. They help us learn and grow as spiritual beings.

They were telling me that the give us opportunities for abundance and joy because they enjoy seeing and feeling us in complete bliss. Much like a parent watching their infant fully belly laugh in pure and uninhibited happiness. Also like a parent, they give us plenty of opportunities to feel this joy.

Of course the question that comes from this is: “Why am I not given these opportunities? Do they not want to see me happy?” The answer is that they want to see all of us happy. The problem is not them…it is us. There is a whole slew of reasons why one does not accept these gifts and opportunities stemming from not feeling worthy, blocking behaviors, difficulty accepting. But the guides tell me that a large problem is the centuries of programming from organized religions. The faulty programming is not in the actual religion but in the belief that one must sacrifice and go without in order to be one with God or to be Christ-like.

They say this is not true at all and these beliefs did not come from God. They remind us that we are all One and if you deprive yourself the Whole is then deprived and it begins to shrivel. In current times, many people are challenging this belief and beginning to allow the joy of self-indulgence come into their lives but the programming still exists.

The guilt and fear of somehow being punished and waiting for “the other shoe to drop”. Not believing that you can live in full happiness and joy without some catastrophe to follow to punish you for feeling so happy and joyful. They say this is all created by the person and is not an act of God or energy. It is all in how one perceives the events. I am often told, “It is not what happens that matters but how you deal with it”. Life will never stop changing but the one thing we all have control over and can never change is our perceptions of those events.

They tell me now that even if you were to hold on to the belief that the other shoe will drop and the happiness will end. Why not fully enjoy those good happy moments for absolutely everything they are worth? Like eating ice cream. Yes, you will gain the weight but damn you are going to enjoy it while you are eating it. Don’t restrict your feelings of love and happiness for the fear of the fall if it ends. Jump off the cliff and relish in the ability to fly for that moment. Maybe you will actually stay up there and soar.

What?! Yes, I said it. Give up. We all have things we want, things we don’t want, and we want it to happen now. We take action, we wish, fantasize, think positively, and do good for others. The energy we put out just doesn’t seem to be coming back to us. But we persist.

The energies right at this moment are just tough. They are not letting a lot of things happen. Many of my clients ask what is wrong and why aren’t they manifesting and the answer time and time again is, “It is not you.” But what they also say is that all this wishing, hoping, and focusing on the thing you want to manifest is, in itself, blocking it. It is sending out this underlying message “But I don’t have it yet”. Do you notice that when you look at your vision board or just that one thing you desperately want and think “I will have it (but not yet)”?

When you try and try and try…the message you are sending out is…well…try with maybe a touch of frustration. The guides say that when you’ve tried everything and action is just not working to just give up. There is a massive release of energy that happens when you relax those muscles and just say, “I still want it and I’ll accept it fully when it comes, but I don’t need it right now”. Then make sure to notice when things do manifest. The little things are coming through…you just have to notice and appreciate them.
